Annopane shares the same starting point but goes one step further: recipients can comment, comments go back to Claude, and the file works like an app on the phone. For that, Annopane is the somewhat bigger solution.
When ShareDuo is the better choice
- You just want a public link with password and view counts – nothing more, as fast as possible.
- You need Google Analytics or Search Console verification on the shared page.
- You want to embed the artifact in Notion or WordPress via iframe.
When Annopane is the better choice
- Readers should give feedback – right on the element, no account.
- Claude should fetch the comments and put the next version under the same link.
- You share not only Claude HTML but also PDFs, Excel or whole folders – with roles per person.
- Recipients should have the file as an app on their home screen, offline too.

Same problem, different depth
ShareDuo is deliberately minimal: paste file, set options, copy link. That's a strength – nothing to learn. Annopane has more surface: a library, folders, versions, a comment list, export. If you don't need that, it feels like overhead; if you collect feedback, like relief.
Where both are equally good
Both hide shared pages from search engines, both show how often a link was opened, both are free in the basic version and require no account from the recipient. On these points there is no reason to switch.
Our verdict
If you just want to send a Claude artifact as a link, ShareDuo is a good, cheap choice – especially with a password already on the free plan. As soon as comments, multiple formats, folders with roles or the app feel on the phone come into play, Annopane pays off.

Can I switch from ShareDuo to Annopane?
Yes, there is nothing to migrate: the same HTML file you uploaded to ShareDuo, you upload to Annopane. Old ShareDuo links can keep running in parallel.

Yes – with a free account you can create links with a password and expiry date. Only the no-account guest link has no password.
