In short
Download the artifact in Claude, upload it to Annopane, share the link. Recipients need neither Claude nor an account, comment right inside the artifact, and you copy all comments back into Claude as an instruction with one tap.
Annopane takes the artifact as a file and turns it into a page that opens like an app on any phone: own icon on the home screen, works offline, JavaScript runs. Recipients tap an element and write their comment right there.
How it works
- 1
Download the artifact
In Claude, tap “Download” on the artifact. React artifacts are exported by Claude as a standalone HTML file. Alternatively set up the Claude connector in Annopane – then Claude publishes directly.
- 2
Open in Annopane
Drag the file into the library or, on iPhone, use Share → Annopane. The file stays on your device until you share it.
- 3
Share the link, collect feedback
Share icon → link is copied. Comments appear collected in your list; “Export for Claude” copies them as a prompt with the exact spot. Upload the new version – same link.
What works
- Interactive artifacts run fully (JavaScript, charts, input fields)
- Comments carry a CSS selector – Claude finds the spot without guessing
- Versions under the same link; resolved comments are ticked off automatically
- MCP connector: Claude publishes and reads comments itself
- Publish as an app with its own icon
What doesn't (yet)
- Artifacts calling external APIs need “Allow network” in the file settings
- Claude conversations themselves can't be imported – only the artifact as a file
Typical uses
- · Monthly report for management or investors
- · Calculator or configurator for clients
- · App prototype for testing with the team
Frequently asked questions
Do recipients need a Claude account?
No. The Annopane link opens in any browser. A name is enough to comment.
Does this work with React artifacts?
Yes. Claude exports React artifacts as a standalone HTML file with embedded code; it runs in Annopane like any other HTML file.
How is this different from sharing directly in Claude?
Claude's own sharing requires a Claude account on the recipient's side, offers no comments in place and no app view on the phone. Details in the comparison Annopane vs. Claude Artifacts.
How do the comments get back into Claude?
Via the export button as a text prompt (copy & paste) or automatically via the MCP connector.
